Vision Campaign Update
The Focus
It is an exciting time at NHBC. This past Sunday, we launched our vision campaign. The primary focus of this vision campaign is for God to work in the hearts of every member and to provide a clear and unified direction for NHBC’s future. The goal is for every member to have an opportunity to be used by God to accomplish the goals that we have for our church. I pray and hope that you have been praying and continue to pray about how God wants to use you.
Kingdom Legacy
The focus of this vision campaign is “Kingdom Legacy.” We are looking forward to building God’s kingdom through the ministry that is being done and the ministry that we will do at NHBC. Our purpose as a church is to build God’s kingdom and we want to be faithful to that purpose. The primary way that we engage in kingdom building is by making disciples as Jesus commanded in the Great Commission (Matt. 28:18-20). We also want to remember the past. We want to celebrate the legacy of NHBC and the faithful saints who have served and built NHBC up to the point that it is today. However, we also want to ensure that the legacy continues for generations to come. Therefore, we look to the future of building God’s kingdom, and, at the same time, we celebrate the legacy of NHBC today.
